The Nest

We had the pleasure of shopping at
The Nest
while we were in Iowa! It was a cold day outside, but inside the store, the only thing on our minds was spring! Birds, bird nest, eggs, moss, flowers, rabbits, frogs, I could go on, but I think you get the picture. The shop was very well displayed, hats off to Amy for a job well done! If you see something you can't live without go to Amy's web site, I'm sure she'd be happy to get it right out to you! Enjoy pictures!

Your trip looked very very fun! I think one of the great things that I love is that in these economically challenging times, we business owners are not giving up. We can still be creative, and share of love of antiques, junk, whatever you want to call it with the world. Thanks for the pictures of your trip. Your blog is always fun.

Where in Iowa did you shop? I have been trying to get to a cute little shop in Dubuque called Willows. Have you ever heard of it? They come to Illinois for the Sandwich Antique Market every month.

Theresa, I love the transferware plates with the birds flying over the top rim! Are they new or old? They are lovely. Someday I am going to go to Ohio, looks like heaven on earth.
