New Roof and Porch

Let me start by saying I have been waiting 15 years to have a covered porch on my house! This summer we had to have a new roof put on our house and it was the perfect opportunity to build the porch. I am so excited to finally have it finished! Now I have an outdoor room to decorate! Actually I have been working on decorating the porch for the last couple of days, and I can't wait to show you the results! Stay tuned!

We took all the railing off so when you set down there is nothing obstructing the view! One rail left to take down!

Here's Spencer checking things out!

Its BEAUTIFUL! Dont you picture lazy afternoons on it? Reading, swinging, watching grass grow. Or sitting out while it rains. I LOVE sitting and watching it rain.

Oh yeah, swinging, reading, and watching it rain. All those things would be wonderful on this porch. It looks big enough to make a really nice outdoor living space.

Thereas, it looks fabulous. Doesn't it feel soooo darn good to get somthing accomplished around the house, normally if it does not involve the word JUNK or RUST it doesn't catch my attention. Heck if I don't get to some things around the house soon they are going to turn to those two words! Hope all is well, Hugs Janna

I LOVE it. I have wanted to this very thing on our house too. That won't happen any time soon, if ever, but if it did this is just what I would want. Right now we have a pegola that I do enjoy very much. I also live in a manufactured home (only I never call it that...it's just my house) and I think we have the same floor plan. I get so much inspiration from you.
Hugs,
June
