Where I Create

Shelly, from Sweet Pea
was telling me the other day that several bloggers had been posting pictures of their studios, Where They Create! So I figured I would do the same. My studio used to be in the Red Room of my house, but I out grew that space. The Sun Room has tons of light and it makes you feel good just being in that room! So several months ago I moved everything into that room. From the Breakfast Room it looked a little junky, so I put up a cable and hung some curtains, but I never really like them. About a month ago we bought some fabulous garage doors that would separate the Sun Room from the Breakfast Room. Yesterday we brought them in the house and I love them! Now my studio feels like a separate room. I thought you might enjoy seeing pictures of my studio................
Where I Create!

Of course I have tons of stuff that helps my creative process flow!
I know it looks junky!

From the breakfast room looking in.

Don't you love this chair, not a very good picture.
I got it from Jackie of Bliss Farm!

Hats on the foam heads,
the white one that looks like a swimming cap
is actually my grandfathers welding cap.
And the black hat was his Sunday go to meeting hat.

Got this great metal shelf for $20!

Projects in mid stream.

There you can see another picture of the great doors.

The picture in the globe is my grandmother (right) and her sister.
The white dove was from her funeral.

Did I ever tell you I love bugs?

Stuff!

Oooh your craft room is simply stunning!!! I love all these knick knacks. You get inspiration from looking around already! This looks great! You are so consequent in your use of worn whites, that makes the room very peaceful...something for me to learn, thanks for sharing!

Your dental cabinet is awesome and don't get me started on that incredible architechtural piece you have on the wall. Those old garage doors are the perfect dividers. They add even more charm...if that's possible.
It would be fun to "create" in your lovely room.

Your studio is amazing! It's funny becuase I am re-doing my studio as well and will be posting pictures next week.

I am doing something similar to your chair. I am using my French Pillow designs that I do on burlap and recovering my two chairs in my studio with them.

Come by for a visit and say hi if you get a chance!

Have a great weekend,
Aimee

I have just cleared out my dinning room to make way for a studio. I'm sitting here thinking about what I want to bring into mine. I saw how stunning yours is and nearly cried when I turned to look at what I have to work with.

It's a good thing I don't know where you live or I might have to rob you. Just kidding , about the robbing thing. JUST STUNNING!
