Well it's that time right before a show when I become a bag full of nerves! Actually I've been that way for the last two weeks! I'm having the hardest time concentrating since Clayton's accident! But this is the time when I'm getting all my smalls together to clean, price and tote up! And a survey of all the big stuff starts to hit you! Will I have enough, how in the world am I going to put this all together and make it look good, will it be good enough? You know a thousand questions running through your mind and driving you crazy! And I have so many jobs left to do I don't know what to do next! My load is odd this time, I don't have any big cupboards, but I have a ton of tables, tables and more tables! Hah! My head will finally clear up when I'm driving to Texas and remembering all the stuff I forgot! These are some pictures of the booth at the Spring show!
Clayton is doing pretty good! We found out 2 days ago he has a ruptured disc in his back and that's where all his back pain is coming from!

I'm so sorry about Clayton's back - I'm sending healing thoughts. I just wanted to let you know that I'll be a neighbor at this Fall's show. I'll be across the street at the Texas Rose Antique Show.
I would love it if you could come by and meet Stan Williams, author of The Find. Stan will be visiting with me, The Vintage Laundress, (AKA LeAnn Stephenson) signing copies of his marvelous book, The Find, and swapping stories about his most favorite finds all day Saturday, September 26th and Tuesday, September 29th.
You'll figure it out while driving there. My antiquing partner was always the best one to arrange everything - she just had that knack. Marburger is so foo foo compared to the others so I understand you being nervous. Nevertheless, you'll do great. I love old tables and I bet lots of others do too. I had lots of smalls and just a few big pieces so you'll do fine. Let us hear how it's going.
I feel you girl! I am panic stricken myself. This is when my ADD really kicks in and I just round around in circles trying to find a corner! Chairs and tables...that's what seems to be our load.
I know worrying about Clayton is really eating you up. Just remember, God is in control of that and He will take good care of Clayton.

P.S. See you soon!
Your booth last spring really looked great.....I'm sure your fall booth will look just divine!
Blessings,
Linda
This is always the time that I get anxious about everything. I'm going to be your neighbor too! We are Tent H-11. I am taking stuff I love and I hope I can get it all displayed so that someone else will like it too! I just told Gary that we need to have a business meeting this afternoon and put a serious list together of all that needs to be done in the next week. That usually ends up in a disagreement then we laugh!
Take care,
Pam
Your booth always looks great! I hope you are able to relax and enjoy the show.It would be tough after everything you have been through.
Good wishes to Clayton and I pray that his back will heal up soon.
Smiles,
June
I'm so glad you are going to make it. With Clayton's accident I was thrilled to see his quick recovery. I know your heart will still be there with him, but I'm so glad you won't have to miss your big show. God is good.
Have a wonderful, "stress-less" time!
Debra
Poor, Clayton. He's had a pretty rough go of it.
I am hoping to see you at Round Top!

Hi Theresa , I've been out of the loop here in blogland - I'm so thankful to see that Clayton is doing well. I can only imagine your fears , thankfully he is on the mend. I know your booth will be fabulous - can't wait to see all the photos. Sue
My kids know first hand how stressed I get before a show, I go through the same worries, plus I always have a ton of other things to do just before leaving!!! Good luck I know you will pull it off!!
Isabel
Theresa, I love those photos and just can't wait to meet you there. I know you'll just be setting up when I'm there on the 25th and 26th, but we will meet up for sure. p.s. I'm glad Clayton is on the mend, despite the disc problem - I'm sure you'll figure everything out well despite all of your worries!
WOW poor guy a ruptured disc is extremely painful! Sending more prayers not only for Clayton's recovery but for much success at this show and hopefully a calming of the nerves soon!!
Sorry to hear about his back. Hope he can get some relief soon.
I bet you will do good at the show.
Ha! I am such a rookie. Not enough space in my trailers and trucks and I'm -still- buying. Crazy! And just how will it all fit in a 10x20? Crazy! You will be fine! I've seen you work magic in placement. Can't wait to sneak off and see your space this year!
Hate to hear bout Clayton. ~Mindy
Your booth will look great as always!! Can't wait to see you and all your pretties! Sorry to hear about Clayton's back problem...will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear about Clayton's back...but, glad to know ya'll now know what is causing the pain!
Hope to stop by and see you this time at your booth! :)
Have a safe trip down here....xo...deb
You will do fine. Your booths always look beautiful. I've only seen the pictures because I'm here in Georgia. You have all of us for encouragement. Sorry to hear about your son but glad he is on the mend.
Wish I was following you to TX--one of these days, maybe. Sounds like you'll be in good company, too. How fortunately you are to be part of such a creative AND caring community.
Be safe in your travels.
I'll continue to keep Clayton in my prayers.
Paige
Oh that is so beautiful...only wish I was closer.

I love everything you are taking to Texas, especially the chaise! The chairs are great too (the ones iwth the tall backs. How are you going to cover them? Do you do the reupholstry yourself? Leave to Craig to realign Jesus! Only he could do it:)! He CAN do anything!
Brimfield turned out just ok. I did better than a lot of people, but still not as good as July. There were lots of open spaces, no "big" names doing any shopping and the opening was the smallest I've ever seen. At lease I didn't lose any money. Good Luck in Texas-I've heard it's a great show.
