We're Home!

Photo by: Annie of The Bunny Bungalow

Well it's been a wild ride for the last 2 weeks in Texas! I have never seen so much rain in all my life! As a matter of fact we hitched a ride home on Noah's Ark! My booth flooded on Monday night before opening on Tuesday morning! Then to top it all off we loaded in a torrential down pour of rain for 4 hours! In spite of all that, we had a good show! We had a few of days of fabulous weather.

The highlight of my show was meeting the famous Corey Amaro of Tongue in Cheek! She is the sweetest thing and cute as a button! I have followed her blog for some time, but I never dreamed in a million years I would actually meet her! The first picture is Corey with the 2 Theresa's!

And the slip dress I am wearing is a creation by Gypsy Brocante. I was so excited to find one that actually fit me! You know
Queen size! Go check out her web site, oh I forgot to mention the dresses are really affordable! Update: I just figured out she has a blog as well! Gypsy Brocante!

Here are a few pictures of my booth, hope you enjoy them!

Somehow I missed you when I was there...where were you set up? I said howdy to the other Theresa, Mindy and Deb and Cat Daddy, were you close to them? After seeing your gorgeous space, I'm kicking myself for missing you.
Glad you're home safe!
All the best,

What a great booth you have! Nothing like that here in Nebraska - well in the end that I live anyway. Isn't it hard to part with your stuff?

Your booth looked great. I would have loved to shop there. I must admit, the rain, wind and heat were the reason I quit doing the Marburger show. You must be true grit. I never had a show there when there wasn't inclement weather.

Theresa, you look fantastic in that vintage slip dress! I LOVED meeting you when I was down there (thanks to that friendly State Trooper at the Marburger gate:) and at least seeing your booth while it was being set up. Your finished booth looks amazing (as usual)! SO sad I missed out on being there for the beginning of the Marburger Show. I am definitely going to try my darndest to come back for the spring show, now that I am completely hooked on Warrenton/Round Top!

That's such a pretty picture of you all. The rain was crazy, I love how you all just go with the "literal" flow. Your booth looked wonderful, puddles or not.

Glad to see you made it home, your booth looked great. You were BUSY. I agree about Corey, I met her too and she was really down to earth. In fact I didn't realize who it was until after she gave me a moo card. Lisa

Theresa,
So glad your back. Glad you had some nice weather and it didn't rain the whole time you were there. I would have freaked if my booth had flooded the day before opening! I guess a "cool attitude" is a must when doing outside shows! Your space looked absolutely amazing...such a very talented designer you are!

Bless you to have survived Round Top. It was brutal this year. Lisa & I were there Sunday through Wednesday. The heat Sunday & Monday was enough to make you ILL & then the RAIN! Floods of water & mud. I can only imagine what you vendors felt! The horrors of seeing your treasures in mud & muck. The straw was saturated. And then I hear it rained again Saturday. Another friend of mine feel down in the mud. :0 But, it was all worth it! Another success! Round Top is such a RUSH. Thanks for participating.

Finally! I was getting scared that something was up with you! Happy to hear your show was good, and of course I am drooling over your pictures! Did you sell the tall chairs? If not, how much? The booth, as usual, is perfection! Glad you're back...Oh yea, how was the prom?
