I Scored Big!

See how Happy I am?
I spotted this table at the Red Barn and I about had a heart attack!!
I rush back to the booth to get Craig to see it!
I wanted it soooo bad!!
Guess what he liked it to!
So! I scored big time!
Not that I ever have to ask him for anything,
I just like having his approval!
He could care less about what I buy!
When I first saw it I thought it was concrete
and I said to Melony of the Seed Box...........I bet that
thing weighs a ton! No...........she said, it is fiber glass!!
It's still very heavy though!
My heart was racing so fast I felt like I was going to pass out!
Silly! I know! Over a stupid table!!
The top is 54" in diameter,
means I can fit 6 chairs around it!
I wasn't even sure it would fit in my kitchen!
But I knew it would look good with my chairs!
But it did!! Whaa Whoo!!!
This is what the top looks like!
Melony said she bought it at an estate sale
and it was out by the pool!
She said she started to pull off the vines,
but decided she liked them and wanted to leave them on!
I love them, I've even been thinking
about trying to glue the ones on that are falling off!
Doesn't this look like concrete?

I know they are coming to take me away!! Ha! Ha!
I have freaky baby doll parts all over my house,
now I have dried up vines on my dining room table!! LOL!!

See why I love it so much!

No you haven't lost it - well maybe you have! LOL But the table is great and looks really good with the chairs in the photo.......Does look like concrete garden columns, the dried vines add to the look!

Way to go!

The table is gorgeous! I love the vines...it would be shame to have them all come off.
Let's see, creepy babydoll heads, half a house hanging on your wall, and a viney table...nope...seems perfectly normal to me!
That table is almost as beautiful as you are!

Oh my gosh, this made me jump out of my skin, it is so lovely. I too, immediately thought oh how heavy this would be. I cannot believe it is fiberglass with all that concrete, aged detail. You are not going to be taken away my friend, that is just the excitement of a great find.
I hope you show it in your house or did I miss that photo? I will have to go look around some more ;)
Have a blessed weekend.
