Home Again!

I have all kinds of things to report! We had a great show, got to see old friends, meet some new friends and sell bunches of junk! Oh, I mean treasures!

We got to see several old friends that we used to set up with at the old Lakewood, even got to see Cindy of The Plum Tree, she bought a great store counter from me for her shop! Thanks Cindy! Seen a couple of blogger friends as well and of course they supported our cause also.

Taylor Swift was in our booth, but I didn't even know who she was! Sorry Taylor!

Sadly we found out the Nashville Fairgrounds is closing down June 2010, it will be torn down to the ground. The Tailgate show will be held there again in Feb. 2010, but will have to find a new venue after that! I am very bummed that I won't be able to go the Nashville Flea Market after June! It concerns me when I hear about shows closing down, makes me worry about where we will be selling our wares!

I wasn't to sure what to take to this show since it is mostly country (primitive) stuff, so we took a few white things and a lot of industrial. We sold most of the industrial and a few white pieces.

I couldn't resist taking a picture of these two cute dogs, their mom and dad were parking the trailer and they were keeping watch!

Awww! Look at those sweet faces. :) Glad to hear you did so well. I was surprised to hear the flea market would no longer be there. I had not been, but had heard so many good things about it. I had hoped to go to Franklin this weekend, but plans got changed.

Oh, how lovely your booth looked! I hate that I didn't make the hour long drive to Nashville this weekend, as I see so many cute treasures in your photos that could find a perfect home with me! :-) I hate to hear about the Nashville Fair Grounds! Such sad news. What will they put in it's place? Do you know? I'll have to read the Nashville paper more often to find out what's going on! Love your blog and love all your wonderful things!

Blessings,
Paula

Glad you're home safe. Hope that another spot is found for the show. Was this the second move for this show?

That's too bad about these shows closing up. We have to have more shows than Warrenton to make ends meet. Glad you had fun.

Theresa, it was good to see you a Craig again and of course I am loving my new counter in the shop. Everyone has commented on how much they like it and it looks like it has been here forever. Good Luck in February, we will probably see each other again at another show.
