Iowa Treasures

First of all Sharon and I shopped till I dropped! I had to beg her to take me home on Friday night after we went to Sisters Christmas open house! We had shopped all day long and I was so exhausted I couldn't go another step! But Saturday morning I was ready, willing and able to start all over again, so off we went!

The only things I bought in Iowa were smalls, and I got tons of Ironstone. (One of my all time favorites!) I even bought some brown and white ironstone, can you believe that! I sold every piece of brown and white I took to the last Marburger Farms show. Sorry there's not more to show, but I was afraid to spend much money with the economy like it is! Oh, yes and Christmas is right around the corner!

I think I hit the jackpot on pitchers!

Old crusty pearls.

Thought this glove form was cool.

Can never get enough old photos.

Just had to have these black door knobs.

What great ironstone pieces! Looks like you and Sharon did very well. I buy my soap from Sharon and it is selling very well! She seems to have the magic touch and know where to find all the good stuff. Happy Thanksgiving! Brenda

Oh Theresa. The ironstone is great. I don't collect it, but really like the brown and white, something earthy about it. You and Martha come anytime; have room for both of you and we can go junking. Just finished painting the Al and Martha room today and cleaning the hardwood to put furniture back. So, ready whenever you are! carrell

I'm so glad you stopped by to say hi. I hope you are having a nice Thanksgiving day. Wow you really found some wonderful things! I am really loving the brown and cream ironstone. I found some princess pink ironstone. Have you ever seen that or know of it's value? It was a fun thing for a girl who likes pink but now my taste is turning to more your style. Ahh shucks...I really don't know what style I am. I love it all.
Hope the economy doesn't touch you!
Blessings

WOW...it just didn't look like that much sprawled all over your truck and my floor, but you did good. Good shoppin' partners are hard to find...you might wanna work out before ya come the next time...we'll try to find another Ol' Man's Creek out in the boonies...what a blast I had...and next time I'll be prepared and COOK...my kitchen is totally different now, I brought in that white table and cupboard top from that side porch and have all my scents in it...I like it much better. That's what happens when you leave me alone...how's the studio comin???

Hope you two had a wonderful turkey day, headin for Sisters' tomorrow, she said the open house was a good one, I'm anxious to hear 'bout it.

Later gal...nut
